I couldn’t sleep and was in pain most of the time

What have you tried in the past to help relieve these issues?

Family Dr. gave my mother nerve medicine and said I was a nervous child.

How did you first hear about Chiropractic?

I had an aunt who lived in Ohio who told us about chiropractic and we found one in the next town over.  In 1980 there weren’t a lot of Chiropractic in small towns.

How has Chiropractic helped with these issues?

After my first adjustment I immediately slept better.

How has chiropractic affected your overall lifestyle?

I have been a chiro patient for over 20 years and have worked in chiropractic offices for the better part of 17 yrs.

            I have had sinus problems as well as Intestinal Troubles for as long as I can remember.

How did these problems affect your overall lifestyle?

            I was always taking medicines to relieve the symptoms.

What have you tried in the past to help relieve these issues?

After many years of doctor visits and different medicines, I found some that helped the symptoms I was having but the medicine caused side effects that are not pleasant.

How much did this cost you? 

Hundreds of dollars for doctors and meds.  Not to mention the time I spent to and from, and time miserable at home.

How did you first hear about Chiropractic?

            My husband started coming to Fern Creek Chiropractic for Lower back pains.

How has Chiropractic helped with these issues?

I have not taken any of my medicines in the past few months.  After an adjustment, my sinuses seem to open right up and I have not had nearly as much Intestinal Troubles.  I also feel better all the way around, less or no headaches.  No more lower back pain all the time.

How has chiropractic affected your overall lifestyle? 

Chiropractic care has definitely improved my overall life.  I feel better and that allows me to spend more quality time with my family.

            Chiropractic has also been a True blessing to my family.

My 12-year-old son suffered for about a year with chronic migraine headaches.  After many tests and doctor visits and trying different medicines we decided to give chiropractic a try.  He has not had a headache since his third adjustment and I am eternally grateful to the doctors (Ferguson and Hoffman) for helping my son when nothing else worked.  His quality of life is…  well, they gave him back his normal life.  Now he can be a 12-year-old boy again.

Tell us about any health problems you’ve had in the past.

For as long as I can remember I have always had problems predominantly with my back but also with my neck and hip.  I initially went in for problems with my feet from a previous surgery.

How did these problems affect your overall lifestyle?

I would get so down in my back or hip that I had to use a cane just to very slowly get around.  Concerning my feet, they burned so bad I could not stand but only for a minute or two.  Now I can stand a little longer.

What have you tried in the past to help relieve these issues?

Usually I would just live with it.  Sometimes I would take a pain reliever or have someone give me a small massage.

How much did this cost you?

Actually not very much if anything.  Since I did not go to any doctor for treatment until I came to FCC in 2002.

How did you first hear about Chiropractic?

As a child my parents took me to a chiropractor.  I always felt better when I got adjustments.  My sister and aunt recommended FCC highly and I have not turned back since.

How has Chiropractic helped with these issues?

My neck and back rarely bother me anymore unless I have done something to stress them.  My hip has improved to where I don’t need a cane to get along, but I still have a long way to go.  I am now able to stand now in 1 spot from 5 to 8 minutes

Tell us about any health problems you’ve had in the past.

I have been very healthy until May of 2003 when I began having Rt Neck & Shoulder pain with numbness in my Rt arm & hand and a slight sensory disturbance in my Rt hand.

How did these problems affect your overall lifestyle?

I am a Vascular Ultrasonographer and even though I am left handed I scan with my Rt hand.  My job was becoming more difficult each day as I scanned 15 – 25 pts daily.

What have you tried in the past to help relieve these issues?

I felt this problem was related to my profession and since I planned to retire Aug 1, I used heat, rest, and analgesics

How much did this cost you?

Almost nothing money wise – but a lot health wise.  Even though I worked for vas. Surgeons I didn’t tell them since I was soon to retire.

How did you first hear about Chiropractic?

I’ve known about it all my life – I‘ve had friends to receive Chiropractic care, and they encouraged me to try it since the physical therapy I’ve received after retirement didn’t help.

How has Chiropractic helped with these issues?

My neck and shoulder pain is gone.  My back feels better.  My arm and hand are still numb but I am hoping that too will improve and eventually be completely well.
